Jamus MacDonald

Jamus Macdonald is a Canadian inventor spearheading the design, operations, and manufacturing of Orb Music. Jamus came to appreciate the beauty of discovering and manufacturing novel sounds and instruments during 10 years of street performance across 40 cities worldwide. The instruments that Jamus invented have been featured on the Discovery Channel, BC Global news, Ukrainian reality TV, and San Francisco's Bold Italic newspaper.

Jamus also worked in the Canadian oilfield. Starting from the bottom, he moved his way up the ranks of oilfield drilling rigs to the driller position where he was further hired to invent, manufacture, and patent power tools to alleviate repetitive stress syndrome. 

His penchant for magnetic street performance took Jamus to downtown San Francisco for 6 years, where he shared workshop spaces with physical hardware startups, and became fluent with prototyping and product design. Once there, he spent 10 months in the Autodesk Sustainability Environment and Technology accelerator in San Francisco where he received training from Autodesk on CAD and engineering.

Adam Bagatavicius

Adam Bagatavicius is a seasoned project manager leading the product and media development of Orb Music. Musical instruments and toys were his first loves from an early age, and it tickles his heart to now be able to create and share tangible new realities cut from the cloth of those passions. In 2014, he met Jamus while living in Vancouver, BC where they began engineering and developing strange new contraptions and media. The rest, as they say, is history.

For the better part of the last decade, Adam has worked diligently in the entertainment, education, and hospitality sectors on a trove of successful projects that have ranged from brick & mortar businesses and event spaces, to creating art installations, documentaries, and educational programming. He is also a music producer, graphic designer, copywriter, and media wizard with a flair for big-picture inventiveness and creative problem solving.
